Background
Both my parents are obstetrician/gynecologists, so I grew up familiar with medicine. I love people and science. Life led me to major in English literature in college with a minor in health sciences, and I completed medical school in Champaign-Urbana, IL to accommodate my partner’s career in museum studies. We moved to Memphis, TN for my residency training and planned on moving back to the Chicago, IL area for good until I met Mark Terris, MD (my department chair) at a meeting. When I learned about Kaiser Permanente, all my other practice options paled in comparison. I truly believe Kaiser Permanente represents the future of medicine and patient centered care!
Roles and Responsibilities
I practice general otorhinolaryngology- surgical treatment of ear, nose, and throat problems. I enjoy working with people to help figure out how to care for each specific situation.
