As your doctor, I understand how valuable your time is. And I want to let you know how much I appreciate the time you take to be as healthy as you can be. To thank you for all your hard work, my colleagues and I have developed My Doctor Online to make it easier for you and your family to get answers to your questions and take care of many of your health care needs.
Both my parents are obstetrician/gynecologists, so I grew up familiar with medicine. I love people and science. Life led me to major in English literature in college with a minor in health sciences, and I completed medical school in Champaign-Urbana, IL to accommodate my partner’s career in museum studies. We moved to Memphis, TN for my residency training and planned on moving back to the Chicago, IL area for good until I met Mark Terris, MD (my department chair) at a meeting. When I learned about Kaiser Permanente, all my other practice options paled in comparison. I truly believe Kaiser Permanente represents the future of medicine and patient centered care!
I practice general otorhinolaryngology- surgical treatment of ear, nose, and throat problems. I enjoy working with people to help figure out how to care for each specific situation.
