Kaiser Permanente's Diablo Service Area encompasses Central and East Contra Costa County and the Tri-Valley Area of Alameda County. We have two medical centers, Antioch and Walnut Creek, and six medical offices: Delta Fair (Antioch); Livermore; Martinez; Pleasanton; Park Shadelands (Walnut Creek) and San Ramon.

The flu is more serious than the common cold, so do everything you can to prevent it. A flu shot (or nasal spray) is your best protection. The vaccine is safe, won't make you sick, and generally has few side effects.

Dr. Kenneth Grullon Selected as Co-Physician-In-Chief for Kaiser Permanente's Diablo Area

Walnut Creek, CA, March 20, 2014 – Kenneth Grullon, an obstetrician/gynecologist in the Antioch area, has been named as the new co-physician-in-chief of Kaiser Permanente’s Diablo Service Area.

Dr. Grullon, 49, replaces obstetrician/gynecologist Dr. David Niver who retired last month from Kaiser Permanente with nearly 35 years of service. Dr. Grullon will serve alongside surgeon Dr. Judy Lively, overseeing a team of more than 800 Kaiser Permanente physicians in Central and East Contra Costa County and the Tri-Valley Area of Alameda County.
