Interpreting Services

The Interpretive Services Department is made up of a team of highly skilled interpreters with diverse backgrounds and extensive training. They will be able to accommodate most of the interpretation needs for your medical appointments. The Kaiser Permanente Fremont and Hayward Medical Centers and the Union City Medical Offices have dedicated certified professional interpreters on staff who are available to interpret for your medical appointments.

We offer interpreting services in Spanish, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), and American Sign Language (ASL). In addition to in person interpreting we also offer Video Remote Interpretation in ASL, Spanish, and Chinese.  For other languages, we partner with an agency for those interpretation services.

If you would like to have an interpreter, please ask your medical provider when you make your next appointment.

Hayward Medical Center & Union City Medical Offices

Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
