Important Information About Flu Shot Availability

The flu is more serious than the common cold. It's also very easy to transmit to other people. The best way to prevent H1N1 and seasonal flu is to get an flu shot. That's why Kaiser Permanente physicians recommend a flu shot for everyone in your household. FluMist (nasal spray) is also available for some people.

Like most health care providers nationally, Kaiser Permanente has experienced a high demand this year for the H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccines. Throughout Northern California, we have administered approximately 800,000 doses of the seasonal vaccine alone.
