Transfer Your Prescriptions

As a new member, if you need to tranfer existing prescriptions, please make sure that you have an adequate supply of your medication on hand prior to your transfer of an existing prescription to Kaiser Permanente.

As a new member, you may transfer a prescription from a non-Kaiser Permanente pharmacy to any of our pharmacies. Be ready to tell the pharmacist your prescription number and the name and phone number of the outside pharmacy.

This transfer can take up to 48 hours. To use this service for new members, simply call the pharmacist at the Kaiser Permanente pharmacy that is most convenient for you.
