The primary care departments span multiple locations (San Rafael , Petaluma , Novato , Downtown San Rafael , Mill Valley , Novato Hearing Center ) while the specialty care departments are all located in San Rafael , with many but not all offering services in Petaluma and Mill Valley as well. Primary care incorporates the departments of Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Pediatrics. These providers will care for your primary health issues and can initiate appropriate referrals to our team of specialists.
Your primary care provider will refer you to a specialist in our specialty departments when he or she feels that you require specialty care. Most specialty departments are by referral only.
