Know what to do if you receive care in a non-plan hospital
If you are treated at a non-plan hospital -- either in an emergency room or as a hospitalized patient -- you or your representative should call Kaiser Permanente, as soon as reasonably possible, so we can coordinate your care and transfer you to a Kaiser Permanente Hospital when it is safe to do so. Please call us at 1-800-225-8883 (inside the United States) or 1-CALL-KAISER (1-225-552-4737) (outside the United States), so we can help ensure you receive the appropriate care and attention you need, as well as avoid unexpeted costs.
