Women's Health Education

Within the course of every health issue, we are called on to make decisions: everyday decisions about whether to call a doctor and what self-care is best, and serious decisions about having surgery or starting a new medication. Our Women's Health education programs are designed to help you fully understand your options and consider your own values and preferences so you can make the best decision for you and your health. We have programs to help you have a healthy baby, and deal with other health concerns unique to women.

Our Instructors
All of our instructors are physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, or health educators with extensive background in women’s health issues. Many work in the outpatient gynecology department, the hospital, or both. Our Women's Health Education Coordinator oversees classes and periodically updates the class content to meet current knowledge and practice.
