I completed my undergraduate training in Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley. Afterwards, I received a Masters Degree in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University, where I continued to complete Medical School. I received my residency training in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California at Davis. Before moving to San Francisco, I lived in Seattle for a year of subspecialty fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
I enjoy working at Kaiser Permanente because we foster teamwork across various specialties, providing patients with comprehensive care. I have the ability to provide properly targeted care without having to negotiate with insurance companies. It is important to me that I am able to pursue the most optimal, suitable treatments for my patients. I also enjoy and value the opportunity to work with residents and teach.
My clinical interests focus on septoplasty and rhinoplasty (cosmetic and functional nasal surgeries), facial aesthetic surgery (facelift, browlift, eyelid and minimally invasive endoscopic surgery), restoring facial deformities such as after trauma or skin cancer surgery. It is important to me to create a safe and comfortable environment so each patient feels confident they are receiving the highest quality of care.
I am also honored to volunteer as a surgeon with surgical mission teams traveling internationally to provide care for children with cranio-facial deformities such as cleft lips and palates.
