I believe that functional improvement is the driving force of rehabilitation. The goal is to maximize children's abilities to do their work in life; to be at home, attend school, be able to play.
I received my undergraduate degree in Psychobiology from the UCLA. I attended medical school at UC Davis in 1984. I returned to UCLA for residency training at Cedar Sinai Pediatrics Department and then went on to the University of Michigan for my PM&R residency. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2007.
My medical interests include spasticity management, neuromuscular diseases and electrodiagnosis.
I serve as the Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I am also the medical director of our Pediatric Rehabilitation Therapy Services Department as well as Therapy services.
