Background

Thanks for looking at my website. I grew up in the Bay Area and, after living in New York City for a few years, am excited to be back and take advantage of all the great things it has to offer.

I think the skin presents a fascinating window to the body as a whole. Our skin is always on display to the world, and when it is affected, one may feel a stigma or challenge to his or her self-esteem that can be very difficult. I appreciate that when a condition is on your own skin, nothing is a trivial matter. Systemic diseases may first present on the skin, and one’s emotional well-being may be reflected in the skin. I enjoy the variety of conditions and patients that walk into my office every day, from the youngest of children to the elderly and everyone in between. Although I take great satisfaction in treating diseases in Dermatology, it is the interactions with my patients and relationships that I am able to form that give me as much if not more enjoyment.
