I am extremely proud to be a member of one of the largest and oldest physician-managed medical groups in the country. I served as a Chief Resident and completed my residency in Family Medicine at the Georgetown University/Providence Hospital Family Practice Residency Program in Washington, D.C. in 1999. A few months later, I began my clinical practice with the Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center. As an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, I am fortunate to have an opportunity to teach medical students and residents about the wonderful practice of primary care medicine. I have a special interest in the medical care of transgender, LGBT and young adult (age 18-26) communities.
I also serve the Oakland Medical Center in a part-time administrative role as a Chief of Health Promotion. My career as a Kaiser Permanente physician is dedicated to one vision: to provide truly exceptional service and the highest quality of medical care.
