Family and Friends
I share my home with my partner Jason and our dogs Kobe (an Airedale) and Gunnar (a Great Dane). My extended family (parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles) often visit me from Wisconsin to escape the cold winters.
Hobbies and Interests
When not at work, I like to spend my free time outdoors gardening in my backyard. Gardening has been a passion of mine since I was very young. Since 2009 I have been working with a non-profit organization in Sunnyvale called Full Circle Farm, a functioning educational farm in the heart of Silicon Valley (also known as the Valley of the Heart’s Delight) on the grounds of the Peterson Middle School that serves as an outdoor classroom for the Peterson students and also for the surrounding community. I also collect antique blown-glass Christmas ornaments and love decorating my home for the holidays. My dream is to someday have you see my house or garden in Sunset Magazine.
Recent adventures
I will be celebrating my 50th birthday in 2010 by going to New York to attend the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
