Background
Coming to work for Oakland Kaiser felt like I was finally returning home, I was born in this very same hospital! I have always been impressed with the level of care and compassion that Kaiser provides its patients. I am proud to join the Kaiser team and be part of a system that is dedicated to all aspects of the patient’s wellness. Kaiser’s model is one that prioritizes preventative care as highly as it does treating chronic and acute illness, this is a major reason I chose to work here.
I decided on a career in internal medicine because I enjoy getting to know my patients and providing them with the ongoing support and care they need to lead long, healthy and productive lives. I am very excited to be in Oakland because of my love of diversity and working within the community I live in.
I consider myself highly fortunate to have had so many wonderful mentors and guides in my life, from my family to my professors at UC Berkeley to my attendings at UC Davis. At Kaiser, I will have the opportunity to share what I’ve learned and experienced with my own community of patients. I look forward to meeting you all!
