Background

My practice experience outside Kaiser Permanente includes general surgery and plastic surgery residencies in the U.S. Army, three years as Chief of Plastic surgery service at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (Fort Bliss, TX), and four years in private practice (Tulsa, OK). I joined Kaiser Permanente in July 2003.

Roles and Responsibilities

After ten years in the Army, I truly enjoy a team approach to health care, but not the constant obligation of deployment. Practicing plastic and reconstructive surgery with the patients’ best interests as a foundation has been my philosophy. Practicing out of a major trauma center in Oklahoma provided a service to my community and a wealth of experience in all realms of plastic surgery. Practicing with skill and caring has created a successful practice with happy patients. Patient education and participation in the process is a cornerstone of success.
