Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy hiking, mountaineering and climbing. It keeps me motivated to continue my exercise program which includes running and weight training. I have also had the opportunity to participate with The Breast Cancer Fund in The Climb Against The Odds as a climber and team physician in Mt. Fuji Japan in 2000, Mt. Shasta in 2003, Mt. Rainier in 2005 and again in Mt. Shasta in 2006 and 2010. The experience of climbing with these courageous women who have survived breast cancer is a true inspiration. The work they are committed to in finding true prevention and the identifying the environmental risks of breast cancer is critical to our future.
