Just about everybody is concerned about the new COVID-19 coronavirus, and parents may have particular worries about keeping their children healthy. Two Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group physicians offer age-appropriate advice about how to talk to children about the illness, what to do about spring break plans, prevention tips, planning for potential school closures, when to call the doctor and more.

Since we are still in the midst of flu season, all of the standard precautions to protect our children from flu and other respiratory viruses apply to COVID-19, say Mona K. Gahunia, DO and Edgard Segura, MD.
