Profile

I was introduced to the exciting world of research through my work at the National Institutes of Health. I was later exposed to the broad realm of public health through the pursuit of a master’s degree in public health and my work at the Centers for Disease Control. Despite my continued interest in research and public health, I soon realized that practicing medicine was my first and foremost passion. I joined the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group because I believe in its mission of integrated medical care through a multi-disciplinary approach that strives to bring hope to vulnerable children. I strongly believe in the organization’s vision to provide the highest standard in patient care and support for their families and welcome the opportunity to improve the quality of life and outcomes for children with congenital and acquired heart diseases. One of the ways we do that is through our new fetal ultrasound program for pregnant patients.
