Profile

My expertise is in the endoscopic diagnosis and management of benign and malignant disease of the bile duct, pancreas, and luminal GI tract. While I am passionate about all aspects of care, I am especially passionate about providing diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients with newly recognized cancers. I am humbled that what I do can expedite their definitive treatment and improve their quality of life.

I chose to join the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group because of the emphasis on patient satisfaction and the provision of high-quality, comprehensive care. I strive to provide the highest quality care in a safe and responsible manner, with the best interest of the patient in mind.

I would like to thank Dr. Copeland for her overall great patient relations. She took time to make sure I was feeling better and even called on Saturday! My hat goes off to her for her great bedside manners! - RH
