I joined the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group in August 2010 after completing my fellowship specialty training in gastroenterology.

My decision to join the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group was largely based on the mission of Kaiser Permanente, which is to provide quality care to members and their families. I believe strongly that an integrated health model is the most effective way to provide the best possible care, and I am dedicated to this model.

I believe gastrointestinal health is important to overall well being. By working with each patient to establish a comprehensive GI health assessment, I believe we can improve both physical and mental health.

My specific clinical interests include colorectal cancer prevention and diseases of the GI tract, liver, and pancreas. I have been trained in advanced therapeutic procedures including ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, and balloon enteroscopy.

What My Patients Say

I had my initial visit with Dr. Wolff, and was very pleased with his bedside manner, and his willingness to thoroughly discuss my condition. I did not feel rushed, as I often do when being seen by other doctors. He made me feel comfortable with the steps he wanted to take to diagnose and treat my condition. He even immediately followed up after my visit, and I could tell it was not just a "computer-generated" message. I was pleased with my visit. - DB

Dr. Wolff cares about me as a patient. It is also nice to see that he is very thoughtful in the way he interacts with his staff. He is very knowledgeable about executing necessary forms and life-saving procedures. - RK

Dr. Wolff may very well have saved my life. While the initial colonoscopy biopsy did not clearly show cancer, he was certain that the lesion was malignant and continued to insist that surgery was necessary until the tumor .... had been removed. He was very compassionate through the whole process. Thank you! - DS

My doctors are responsive and helpful. Dr. Nettles, Dr. Wolff and all of the RNs have been great. I like that everything is within their own network so my doctors already know what others are doing and I can send email messages or have video calls with my doctors instead of visits. - SS

I entrusted Dr. Wolff with my life and he did not disappoint me. It is so very nice to have a doctor who really cares and considers the whole picture. - RK
