Profile

I grew up in and around Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating with honors from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, I went to Cleveland, Ohio to complete my medical degree and PhD in virology. I focused on the effects of active tuberculosis on HIV infection. I developed my passion for rheumatic diseases during my residency, so pursued a fellowship in rheumatology. I joined the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group upon completion of my fellowship.
