Allergy, Asthma & Immunology

If you have never had an allergy evaluation, you may find that this visit is somewhat different from other medical visits. Allergy evaluations often require in-depth history and more time in the office for skin testing and/or assessment of your breathing. You will have the option of deciding with your Allergist which tests are right for you.

The doctor may order a breathing test or skin test for you to complete. If it is convenient for you to stay the same day as your appointment, our staff will perform the tests then, if time permits. If you are able to stay, the total time you will be in the office will be approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. If you are unable to stay for the tests, we will schedule the appointments for you at a more convenient time.

Thank you for your time in reading this information. We look forward to your visit, and hope this information will help you to understand the Allergy evaluation process.
