Services Offered

  • Watch-PAT Study – is a take-home device used to diagnose Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Click on the link to watch the set-up for Watch-PAT.
  • NOX-T3 Study – is a take-home device with respiratory belts, nasal cannula, and oximeter used to diagnose OSA and central apnea for pediatrics and adults. Click on the link to watch the setup for the NOX-T3 study.

  • CPAP Care and Supplies: How to Care for your CPAP and Reorder Supplies
  • CPAP Desensitization Steps
    • Wear the mask at home while awake for one hour each day.
    • Attached is the mask to the CPAP device, and switch the unit “on”.  Practice breathing through the mask for one hour while watching the television, reading, or performing some other sedentary activity.
    • Use CPAP during the initial 3-4 hours of nocturnal sleep.
    • Use CPAP through an entire night of sleep.
    • Advance by one step after every five days, once the step can be carried out without anxiety.
    • Therapeutic guidance should be provided during outpatient visits to the prescribing clinician.
    • The pace of treatment is guided by the patient’s scheduling preference and by the reported rate of progress.
  • Follow-up individual appointments with a respiratory therapist to determine the efficacy of therapy.
