I am a licensed clinical psychologist with experience providing individualized evidence-based treatments for adults with difficulties related to trauma, anxiety, OCD, and sleep. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology at the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium. I completed my doctoral internship at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, and my postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine. While there, I furthered my specialization in treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), providing individual therapy for a variety of traumas including sexual trauma, childhood physical and sexual abuse, combat trauma, and loss.
I have been working at Kaiser Permanente since Fall 2023 as a trauma specialist, with a particular focus on individual and group therapy for individuals managing traumatic stress. These treatments include Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET). In my trauma specialist role, I aim to collaboratively work with my patients to recognize existing problematic patterns, compassionately challenge those patterns and find more helpful and effective ways of being, and head toward healing. I believe that by approaching therapy in a way that is person-centered, culturally-inclusive, and strengths-based, we can work efficiently and effectively toward wellness and meaningful change.
