2019 Seeds of Hope Cancer Survivors Day Conference and Celebration
Sunday, June 9, 2019

According to the American Cancer Society, 1 in 3 Americans will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Up to 40% of these cancers will be due to lifestyle choices.

Come join us on Sunday June 9 at KP Santa Clara, as we learn from our guest speaker, Dr Donald Abrams, how nutrition plays a role in cancer as well as from the other experts at our other educational booths and activities. Below is just a taste of what will be offered.

This event is useful for friends and family. If you would like to attend, we ask that you register.

Our Keynote and guest speaker, Donald I. Abrams, M.D. is an Integrative Oncologist at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. He is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at UCSF, and a practicing oncologist at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center where he was chief of Hematology and Oncology from 2003 to 2017.

Dr. Abrams has been providing Integrative Medicine consultation to people living with and beyond cancer with an emphasis on nutrition and cancer. He co-edited an Oxford University Press textbook in Integrative Oncology with Dr. Andrew Weil.  In 2010, Dr. Abrams served as president of the Society for Integrative Oncology.
