Professional

Background

I went to college at UCLA, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Biology. My junior year was spent abroad at the University of Sussex in England. In 1989, I completed medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, where I was a Regent's Scholar. I returned to UCLA for my internship, residency, and cardiology fellowship.

After completing cardiology training, I remained at UCLA as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar to do research on congestive heart failure. I joined Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara in 1996.

If there are questions after your visit, I encourage you to contact me via Kaiser Permanente's Secure Messaging System. You can access Secure Messaging at my internet homepage above. If more convenient, you may also leave messages at 408-851-3095 or call our clinic at 408-851-3355 (9AM-5PM).
