Professional

Background

After growing up in Northern California, I craved a drastic change of scenery. I moved to Northeastern Ohio to receive my Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Hiram College. However, four years of snow and humidity were enough and I soon found my way back home. Here, I earned my Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from California State University, Stanislaus. During this time as a student, I had the opportunity to work closely with the Genetics group at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento and found my true home. After graduation, I joined the Kaiser Permanente Genetics care team.

As a provider in the Genetics Department at Kaiser Permanente in Modesto, I am privileged to see patients in a variety of settings including prenatal, pediatric and adult. I also have a special interest in hereditary cancer syndromes. Kaiser Permanente focuses on providing excellent care for patients and their family while providing a healthy and happy working environment for employees. The Genetics Department consists of numerous geneticists and genetic counselors who all work together to provide outstanding care to our patients and their families. I feel very lucky to be a part of Genetics team at Kaiser Permanente.
