I am a native of Wisconsin who first fell in love with Northern California in 1992 while attending Stanford University. (Sorry to all you Raiders and 49ers fans, but I am still a Cheesehead and I will always cheer for the Packers!) While at Stanford, I majored in Human Biology with special emphasis on women’s health. I also enjoyed performing in a capella singing groups and dance troupes while a student. I loved my time at Stanford and I made several lifelong friends, who still reside in the Bay Area.

Beginning in 1998, I attended medical school back in Milwaukee at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I knew upon entering medical school that I wanted to pursue a specialty in women’s health, particularly Obstetrics and Gynecology. I believe that OB/GYN encompasses all the best in medicine: surgery, delivering babies, preventative medicine, and an on-going relationship with the patient.

In 2006, I completed my OB/GYN residency training at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. While at Baystate Medical Center, I received well-rounded training, which included a large volume of high-risk obstetrics and a busy surgical service.

Upon completion of my residency training, my Canadian husband and I had had enough of harsh winters, piles of snow, and humid summers! We moved to Sacramento in August of 2006 when I joined the OB/GYN department at Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento.

I am lucky to work with such great doctors, nurse practitioners, midwives, nurses, social workers, medical assistants and receptionists. It truly is a team approach!

I look forward helping you meet your health goals!
