I am extremely happy with the opportunity to work as a cardiologist at Kaiser Permanente. In my practice, I feel that I am able to provide excellent medical care for my patients, just as I would want for any member of my family. We are able to provide better and high quality care with the unparalleled integrated medical system here at Kaiser Permanente which allows for easy communication with referring primary care doctors, teamwork with colleagues in other specialties, along with timely access to diagnostic testing and follow up.

After finishing medical school, I moved to Boston. During my research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, I explored the impact of risk factors such as diabetes and obesity on heart disease. I was able to further complete my PhD at the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. During my medicine residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and cardiovascular fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute in Beverly Hills, I stayed involved with research and clinical trials. This has led to more than 80 peer reviewed publications and I hope that I continue to contribute to the field of cardiology and to make a difference in the lives of patients affected by heart disease.

Growing up, I saw heart disease affect my close family members. Thus, I strongly believe that early prevention and risk factor modification are critical. I welcome questions and discussion from my patients on such matters and look forward to building lasting therapeutic and cooperative partnership with my patients and their families.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and exploring various cultures around the world.
