My goal is to assist you in making the informed decisions about your care and to provide the best possible care to you. I received my undergraduate degree (BS) in medical technology and my professional degree (DDS) from the University of Washington. I went on to receive my medical degree (MD) from the University of Texas School of Medicine in Houston (2006) where I graduated from the top 15% of my class and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. I stayed on to complete my Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training which included general surgery internship and plastic surgery rotations. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in 2009, I was in a community practice in Washington State and was an affiliate instructor at the University of Washington Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. I am a board certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who has a particular interest in orthognathic, facial trauma and reconstructive surgery.

Currently, I am involved in teaching Stanford Plastic surgery residents during their rotation to our service. To keep abreast of the latest developments in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, I have attended numerous medical and dental conferences. I have published several scientific articles in the Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and have given instructional courses. In addition to English, I speak Vietnamese.
