I have lived and trained in many different places. I was born and raised in Washington, DC. I received my undergraduate degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. I subsequently moved to Atlanta, GA where I received both my medical degree and my master's degree in public health from Emory University. Finally, I came to California for my internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of California, San Francisco Medical Center which I completed in 2005.
I chose to join the ob-gyn group at Kaiser Permanente East Bay largely based on the diversity of the patient population, the community of warmth and respect, and the commitment of the providers to patient empowerment. I will strive to give you the best information and care possible such that you can achieve your maximal well being.
While I enjoy all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology, I am particularly interested in maternity excellence, family planning, surgical and non-surgical management of fibroids, and teen pregnancy. In order to better serve you, I speak French and German, as well as medical Spanish.
