I am a native Californian, born and raised in Sacramento. I attended the University of California, Davis, where I majored in Biological Sciences. I then received my medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1993 and completed my Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1996.
In addition to English, I speak conversational Cantonese.
